Basketball season is fully behind us and that means post season awards have been handed out. The Twin Valley League has announced their All-League girls and boys squads. Three teams tied for the most players overall with five players making the first or second team; whose three teams are the B&B Falcons, the Hanover Wildcats and Washington County Tigers. The next highest total of players on the two All-League teams went to four more teams in the Centralia Panthers, Wetmore Cardinals, Frankfort Wildcats and the Linn Bulldogs. Centralia had the most players combined on the first team's with four total, two boys and two girls on the first teams.
Four other teams each had two players make the first or second team squads for All-League; those include: the Bern Indians, Blue Valley Rams, Onaga Buffaloes and Valley Heights Mustangs. The Axtell Eagles, also had one player make it onto the All-League squads.
Out of the 40 total players on the both girls and boys first and second team All-League teams, 24 of them are seniors. The boys first team features eight seniors of the total of 10 players selected to the squad, with one junior and sophomore, also. For the boys second team six of the 10 players are seniors, three juniors and one sophomore. First team All-League for the girls features five seniors of the total of 10 players selected to the squad, with four juniors and one sophomore, also. On the second team again it was five of the 10 players are seniors, two juniors, one sophomore and two freshman.
