TIPTON, Kan. (AP) - A state championship football coach is in the hospital after a motorcycle accident in north-central Kansas.
Osborne County Sheriff's Deputy Danny Miner told WIBW that Osborne football coach Steve Tiernan was injured early Sunday in a motorcycle accident west of Tipton. He was taken to a hospital in Wichita.
Tiernan won two state championships in 8-Man football with Baileyville B&B in 2008 and 2010 and last year's 8-Man Division One championship with Osborne.
