The Peru State College Baseball team rebounded from a rough outing at home Tuesday to pick up a victory at Nebraska Wesleyan, 10-0, on Wednesday.
The Bobcats came out swinging, scoring three runs in the first inning and one in the second.
Tyler Croushorn and Derek Voigt led Peru State offensively, each going three-of-four at the plate. Croushorn had a game-high four RBIs, and Voigt drove in two runs.
Austin Parker pitched four strong innings to earn his first win of the season.
With the win, Peru State snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 13-5 on the year. The ‘Cats begin Heart of America Athletic Conference play Saturday when they travel to Lamoni, Iowa to take on Graceland University. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
