With the basketball season having wrapped up this past weekend with state action in the books, the All-League teams for the area will be announced. The 2011-12 Big Seven All-League girls and boys squads have been announced. The Holton Wildcats saw the most players combined with five players all the All-League squads and three earning honorable mention honors, for a total of eight players honored. Nemaha Valley Raiders would have the second most players on the All-League squads with four and also one on honorable mention honors list. While, Sabetha would have the second most total players honored with All-League and honorable mention combined, having three All-Leaguer's and four honorable mention players.

Royal Valley Panthers saw three players earn All-League status, while the Santa Fe Trail Chargers tallied two All-Leaguer's and three honorable mention players. The Jeff West Tigers grabbed two spots on the All-League squads, with Perry-Lecompton Kaws and Hiawatha Red Hawks each getting one All-Leaguer and one player on the honorbale mention list, as well.
