Doniphan West basketball player honored for 1,000 career points
02/06/2012

Reaching the milestone of 1,000 career points is a hard task in basketball, so its a pretty big accomplishment for Doniphan West senior, Marc Ellis to surpass that plateau in his career. Ellis reached the 1,000 career point mark on January 13th, 2012 against McLouth, in a game which he scored 30 points, hitting five three-pointer's. Ellis's accomplishment is even a greater feat considering he did it in two and a half seasons, coming to Doniphan West as a sophomore.  With his accomplished Marc was recently awarded a plaque and signed ball, to honor the occasion.

Doniphan West Mustangs boy's varsity squad is 5-8 on the season.
