(KLZA)--The Nebraska Department of Roads has scheduled an information Open House meeting for Tuesday, November 15 in Adams.
The meeting is in regards to the proposed improvements to Nebraska Highway 41 known as Adams West and Adams West bridges. The open house will be from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Village of Adams Fire and Rescue Training Room at 730 Main Street.
The plan calls for just over 11 miles of resurfacing of Nebraska-41, building offset right turn lanes at the junctions of Nebraska-41 and U.S. Highway 77, and resurfacing about a quarter mile of Nebraska Spur 34-C, and removal and replacement of six bridges on Nebraska-41.
Work is tentatively scheduled to begin in the fall of 2017 with a completion date in the fall of 2019.
Personnel from the Department of Roads will be available during the open house to answer questions, receive comments and discuss any aspect of the proposed project.
