(KLZA)--A Saturday night stabbing, involving students at Peru State College, sends three to the hospital.
There's no immediate word on any arrests.
According to a press release issued Sunday afternoon, the Nemaha County, Nebraska Sheriff's Office says it happened around 10:15 near the 1000 block of 5th Street in Peru.
Three males were admitted to the Nemaha County Hospital for the treatment of cut and stab injuries. One was treated and released, but two were transferred to a Lincoln hospital for further treatment.
According to the press release, Deputies from the Sheriff's Office were joined by Nebraska State Patrol Troopers in responding to the scene, where a number of Peru State students were apparently involved in the disturbance turned stabbings.
Names are not immediately made public as the joint investigation continues.
