(KLZA)-- The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Click It or Ticket mobilization November 23rd through November 29th.
During that week, the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office made 83 contacts. Of the 83 contacts, 32 people were issued citations and one person was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. During the grant, no injury accidents were reported in Richardson County.
Through January 3rd, the Sheriff’s Office is taking part in the “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose” campaign, focusing on impaired drivers. Increased traffic enforcement is taking place during the campaign.
