Chantez Butler
(KAIR)--Threats, allegedly made with a handgun, lands a 21-year-old Atchison man in jail.
Atchison Police Lieutenant Tim Stout says Chantez Butler was taken into custody Thursday in connection with the alleged crime that happened around 9:30 Tuesday night, in the 400 block of North 2nd Street. “During that time, two female acquaintances of Butler reported to officers that while they were at this location, in a vehicle, Butler pointed a handgun at their vehicle and made threats.”
Butler was arrested on a District Court warrant for aggravated assault and booked into the Atchison County Jail.
He remains held on a bond of $10,000.
