(KNZA)--A St. Joseph man has been charged in the shooting death of another St. Joseph man.
KQ2TV reports Buchanan County prosecutors Thursday charged 36-year-old Scott Hollandsworth with voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in connection with the death of 33-year-old Shawn Martin.
Martin’s body was discovered when police were called to a residence Monday night in the 15-hundred block of Felix Street.
According to a probable cause statement, Hollandsworth allegedly hit Martin in the head with an object during a fight at the home. He then allegedly fired at least one shot, killing Martin.
Hollandsworth turned himself into the Riverside Police Department Wednesday.
He is scheduled for an arraignment Tuesday.
