Downtown Auburn
(KLZA)-- The Auburn City Council last week tabled action on a proposed agreement with JEO Consulting to facilitate public meetings on possible building projects in the community.
Mayor Scott Kudrna says he believes it would be best to have a professional company facilitate the meetings to utilize their expertise on things such as dimensions, seating capacities, costs, and funding sources for various facilities.
Types of facilities that have been discussed include a performing arts center, gymnasium, and indoor pool.
The first meeting would be to determine the goals and another meeting to reveal some of the realities of the project. Originally the hope was to have a meeting this month, with the tabling of the proposal, the process is delayed for now.
