Atchison Man Sentenced On Drug Charge
11/16/2015

(KAIR)--An Atchison man, convicted of selling methamphetamine, has been sentenced to just over six years in prison for the crime.

26-year-old Cody Horton appeared in Atchison County District Court Monday afternoon, where he was sentenced to 73 months in prison on a felony charge of distribution of methamphetamine. Upon his release, he will be placed on 36 months of supervised probation.

Horton was arrested in August, after an investigation by the Atchison Police Police Department  and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation that focused on the sale of illegal drugs in the city, specifically methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
