(KNZA)--Plans have been made for the annual Brown County Veterans Day dinner.
A free home cooked meal will be provided to Brown County veterans and their spouses on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:00 in the evening at the Hiawatha National Guard Armory.
The meal will feature BBQ meat with all the trimmings. There will be an update on the local National Guard Battalion activities and plans for the future provided by Battalion Commander, Lt. Colonel Paul Schneider. The featured speaker will be Retired Bridgadier General Alexander Duckworth.
Veterans, spouses and all Auxiliary members interested in attending should make reservations on or before Friday, Nov. 6 by calling the Hiawatha National Guard Armory at 742-5630, Cheri Herlinger at 547-5520 or Sam Schuetz at 742-3481.
