(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City, City Council approved the appointments of Patty Rice and Darren Arlt to the Pawnee City Library Board this week replacing Jo Vrtiska and Dee Fenski.
Council members also discussed a problem with the street on the north side of the Pawnee City School. The blacktop is buckling at the corner of 9th and E Streets. Options to fix the problem were discussed but no final decision made.
The pasture and farm ground lease on the city-owned property on which the water well field is located was extended another year. Todd Albers is the renter. Pawnee City receives $93.25 an acre for the 177 acres of pasture.
