(KLZA)-- Only minor injuries reported following a one-vehicle wreck on Interstate 29, about three miles south of Mound City Wednesday morning. Behind the wheel was 47-year old Gregory Eakin who was traveling with his 8-year old daughter, Cydney.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, Eakin, from Olathe, Kansas was northbound and swerved to miss another vehicle, went into the median and overturned with his Subaru Forester coming to rest on the passenger side.
Both occupants of the vehicle were treated at the scene.
The Mound City Police Department and the Holt County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene of the wreck.
