( Nebraska Radio Network)-- If you need to fill your gas tank it is going to cost more in Nebraska. Triple-A Nebraska spokesperson Rose White says the price hike is due to problems at refineries.
White says the price hikes are not due to problems at the refineries along the east coast impacted by heavy rain and flooding. The average price for a gallon of gas in Nebraska is $2.36, seven cents higher than the national average. That is still 88-cents less than what Nebraskans were paying at the pump one year ago.
