(KNZA)--No changes in leadership for the Kickapoo Tribal Council.
That follows the annual election of the Tribal Council, held Monday at the Golden Eagle Casino, west of Horton.
According to a press release from Council Chair Lester Randall, Adolph Cadue, Junior was elected to a vacant council seat, while Carla Cavin and Christina Wahwasuck were re-elected.
Once the elections to the council were complete, the Tribal Council reorganized, re-electing the current officers to their same roles. That includes Randall as Chair, Fred Thomas as Vice-Chair, Russell Bradley as Treasurer, and Carla Cavin as Secretary.
Randall says the re-election of officers “clearly indicates” that tribal members believe the Council is “moving in the right direction.”
