(KLZA)-- The Falls City Council approved wage increases as proposed for management positions, non-union employees and part-time and seasonal employees during their meeting Monday evening. These employees are not covered by a collective bargaining unit. The same benefits provided to employees currently under the labor agreement between the City and the Communications Workers of America are also provided to the management positions and non-union employees.
City Administrator Gary Jorn receives a 3% pay increase to $71,277. The other positions all received a 2.5% wage increase.
The Assistant City Administrator will be paid $43,563. Chief of Police $65,139 and Utility Superintendent $70,052.
The Assistant Police Chief will be paid $27.84 per hour and the Non-Union Dispatcher $18.88 per hour. Part-time Utility, Street and Cemetery workers will receive $9.74 per hour, the Part-time Certified Police Officers will be paid $17.68 per hour, Part-time Fire Truck Drivers will start at $10.25 an hour and after five years are paid $15 per hour.
The Part-time Library Aide will be paid $9.57 per hour.
