St. Joseph Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries in Crash

(KNZA)--A St. Joseph man has died from injuries received in a motorcycle crash over the weekend in St. Joseph.

KQ2-TV reports 36-year-old Tony Cox died Monday at a Kansas City, Kansas hospital.

Police say Cox  was traveling off St. Joseph Avenue onto southbound I-229 Saturday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle traveled off the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and became airborne, ejecting Cox.

Cox was initially taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph and was later transported to the University of Kansas Hospital
