(KAIR)--Benedictine College is hosting a special viewing event, featuring a replica of the Shroud of Turin.
The Shroud of Turin, considered to be the cloth that Jesus was wrapped and buried in, measures 16 by 6 feet, and is housed at the Shroud Center of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
The viewing will start with a presentation by Jim, Bertrand, a shroud expert affiliated with the Shroud Center. He has studied the Shroud for over thirty years, and has been affiliated with the center since 2014. His presentation will feature new scientific information regarding the dating of the Holy Shroud, which has been recently, the subject of much debate.
The viewing will take place Thursday evening starting at 7:00 in the McAllister Board Room on the fourth floor of the Ferrell Academic Center.
