(KAIR)--A motorcycle crash in St. Joseph over the weekend leaves a St. Joseph man with critical injuries.
The St. Joseph News Press reports 36-year-old Tony Cox was traveling off St. Joseph Avenue onto southbound I-229 around 3:00 Saturday afternoon at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle.
The motorcycle traveled off the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and became airborne, ejecting Cox.
Cox was initially taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with life-threatening injuries. He was later transported to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City.
The wreck remains under investigation.
