(KMZA)--A two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 24 Highway in Pottawatomie County Thursday evening left two injured.
Pottawtomie County Sheriff Greg Riat says it happened around 6:45 just east of the intersection of Salzer Road and U.S. 24 Highway.
Riat says Raymond Brase, of Wamego, was westbound on U.S. 24 and attempted to make a left turn onto Salzer Road when his Chevy Cobalt was struck by an eastbound Ford Taurus driven by Jim Burns, of Wamego.
Burns was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. A passenger in the Cobalt, Carol Brase, was flown by helicopter to a Topeka hospital.
The wreck remains under investigation.
