(KAIR)--An Atchison man, arrested after a drug bust by the Atchison County Sheriff's Department, will stand trial on charges.
Arraignment for Dale Rogers II was set for October 19th, after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing during an appearance Friday morning in Atchison County District Court.
Rogers is facing charges of distributing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, use of a telecommunication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation, aggravated endangering a child, and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was arrested in August, along with 20-year-old Samantha Bruckerhoff-Crowell, after a controlled purchase was arranged by the Sheriff's Department in the parking lot of Walmart.
Bruckerhoff-Crowell is scheduled to make her next court appearance on October 9th.
