(KLZA)-- The Nebraska Department of Roads says work is scheduled to begin the week of October 5 on US-73 in Falls City, weather permitting.
Integrated Electrical Services, Inc. DBA IES Commercial, Inc., of Holdrege, Nebraska, has the $130,624 contract to construct new traffic signals at the intersection of 16th Street and US-73.
Traffic on the project will be controlled by one-lane work zones, along with temporary all-way stops for signal work. The project is anticipated to be completed this fall.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through construction zones.
