(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, arrested after a drug bust by the Atchison County Sheriff's Department, has had her case continued for the second time.
20-year-old Samantha Bruckerhoff-Crowell made an appearance in Atchison County District Court Friday morning, where her attorney informed the judge that a plea deal was in the works, and requested more time to finalize it.
A new hearing date was set for October 9th.
Bruckerhoff-Crowell is facing charges of distributing marijuana within 1,00 feet of a school, interference with a law enforcement officer, driving while suspended, and aggravated endangering a child. She was arrested last month, along with 28-year-old Dale Rogers after a controlled purchase was arranged by the Sheriff's Department in the parking lot of Walmart.
Rogers' case was also continued Friday morning to give his attorney more time to work on a possible plea deal. A new hearing date set for October 2nd.
Rogers has been charged with distributing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, use of a telecommunication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation, aggravated endangering a child, and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
