(KAIR)--The Atchison County Sheriff's Department is investigating the burglary of a barn that resulted in the loss of several items.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says an unknown suspect or suspects entered a barn on property located on River Road, south of 244th Road, early last Thursday morning.
Taken were two portable generators and an air compressor. Entry was made through a walk in door, which was damaged in the process.
The estimated value of the items taken is believed to be around $1,600.
There are no suspects in the case, but the search for leads continues.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Atchison County Sheriff's office.
