(KAIR)--A Nebraska man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Atchison County Saturday morning.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says 66-year-old Charles Meier Jr. of Gretna, Nebraska, was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle on K-7 Highway, near 330th Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve and was ejected from the vehicle into a nearby ditch.
Meier was pronounced dead at the scene.
Laurie says Meier was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck, which was reported shortly before 11:30.
