(KNZA)--Pay raises are approved for the staff of the South Brown County Schools.
That follows a special meeting of the USD 430 Board of Education, held primarily in executive session, Tuesday morning.
At that time, the board unanimously agreed to accept the negotiated agreement with teachers, as presented. It includes a 1.6% salary increase for the certified staff.
In another unanimous vote, the board approved a 25-cent per-hour pay raise for all classified staff in the district, while a third unanimous vote approved a 1.6% salary increase for administrators.
