(KAIR)--A vehicle that was reported stolen in Atchison, has been recovered in Horton;
Police Chief Mike Wilson says 24-year-old Atchison resident Peter Whitaker reported Wednesday, that he believed the 1995 Nissan pickup truck was taken from the 500 block of North Ninth Street sometime between mid afternoon Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.
Wilson says the truck was recovered Wednesday evening in Horton, unoccupied, and with damage on its steering column.
No suspects have been identified in connection with the case.
The Horton Police Department assisting in the investigation.
