(KAIR)--The Atchison County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single vehicle wreck that injured two over the weekend.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says that deputies were called to the Atchison Hospital just after 4:00 Saturday morning, where it was reported that31-year-old Atchison resident Arlen Thompson was operating either an ATV or a Harley Davidson motorcycle at an unknown location when it is believed that he lost control on a gravel road. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle and received conflicting stories about its identity.
Thompson's passenger, 33-year-old Haley Thompson was treated for a back injury, fractured leg, and other minor injuries sustained in the wreck. Arlen Thompson's injures are unknown.
Laurie says that it is possible that alcohol was a factor in the wreck.
