(KNZA)--Two injuries following a single vehicle Thursday morning rollover crash near the Jackson-Shawnee county line.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened when 24-year-old Heather Kuntzsch, of Topeka, was southbound on U.S. Highway 75, north of 94th Road, shortly before 5:00. The Mazda Tribute left the roadway north of 94th and rolled over two times, ejecting a passenger, 31-year-old Andrea Mauer, of Newton.
She suffered critical injuries and was transported, along with Kuntzsch, for hospitalized treatment in Topeka.
Morse says the crash remains under investigation regarding whether alcohol and/or drug use contributed to the wreck.
