(KNZA)--A single-vehicle wreck on K-7 Highway in Doniphan County Tuesday evening sent a Tonganoxie teenager to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Meagan Behm was northbound about 7 miles southwest of Troy when she swerved to miss a cow in the roadway. Behm lost control of her Honda Civic, which went into the west ditch and struck an embankment.
Behm, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck, was transported to the Atchison Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly before 6:50.
