(KAIR)--An Atchison man, arrested late Tuesday afternoon for an alleged probation violation, is facing two more drug related charges.
Atchison Police Department Lieutenant Tim Stout says it happened after officers were called to the Atchison Community Corrections building where 37-year-old Joseph Hall had failed a mandatory drug test. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Hall had an arrest and detain warrant issued in connection with the failed test. In addition, they found what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Hall was booked into the Atchison County Jail on the arrest and detain order for probation violation, as well as on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia
