(KLZA)-- Only 13.9-percent of the eligible voters turned out Tuesday for a Special Election on imposing a ½-cent countywide sales tax in Holt County Missouri for 10 years.
78-percent of the voters cast a yes vote with the sales tax passing 359-100.
This will be the same ½-cent sales tax that was first voted into effect in 1995 and again in 2005.
