(KLZA)-- Downtown Falls City business owners and tenants are invited to attend a meeting Monday evening at 5:30 in the Council Chambers at City Hall to learn more about the proposed Downtown Revitalization Grant being submitted to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
The grant, in the amount of $350,000 requires a $111,000 match for a total of $461,000. $17,000 of the total is for administrative fees.
The proposed breakdown is for $200,000 for building façade improvements and $244,000 for sidewalk upgrades.
During the meeting matching requirements and preliminary program guideline information will be discussed along with the proposed sidewalk upgrades. Feedback from business owners and patrons is encouraged.
