(KLZA)-- Two long-time employees of the Richardson County Sheriff’s Department have retired.
A reception to honor Deputy Sheriff Jon Larsen and his wife, Jailer / Dispatcher Lenn Larson, was held earlier this week at the Richardson County Courthouse.
Both started with the Sheriff’s Office in 1986 for then Sheriff Charlie Laux. Both having worked under five different administrations.
Jon Larsen started as a Pawnee County Deputy in 1978.
Jon said it had been an interesting journey which included a heart transplant 22 years ago.
