(KAIR)--An Atchison man, accused of taking part in a residential burglary, has agreed to a plea deal in the case.
20-year-old Chase Chapman appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday to plead guilty to one count of burglary of a dwelling. In exchange for the plea, several other burglary related charges were dismissed.
Sentencing has been set for February 27th.
Chapman was arrested in early January after it was found that he had removed several saws from a residential property in December.
Chapman's accomplice, 21-year-old Brett Betts, pleaded no contest in early January to charges related to the case, and is scheduled to be sentenced on February 13th.
