(KLZA)-- A Falls City man has been sentenced to 20-40 months in prison on charges stemming from an altercation with two Falls City officers in March.
32-year-old Craig Hayes was sentenced in Richardson County District Court by Judge Daniel Bryan Jr. on a pair of felony counts of terroristic threats and a charge of assault of an officer in the third degree.
As part of a plea agreement, Hayes pleaded guilty to the charges in August. In exchange for the plea, a second charge of assault of an officer and a charge of attempted possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person was dismissed.
Hayes was arrested March 29th after being involved in an altercation with Falls City Police Officers Travis Mitchell and Chuck DiGiacomo.
