(KAIR)--There is still time to register to vote in the upcoming November general election.
That, according to Atchison County Clerk Pauline Lee who adds that she expects registration for this election to be a bit higher since it is considered a bigger election compared to a local or primary election. However, registration is expected to be lower than it would be during a presidential election year.
Atchison County residents must register to vote no later than Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 to be eligible to vote in the November election.
Lee says most of the calls to her office are requests for advanced voting ballots. She advises anyone sending in an advanced ballot to make sure it is in the Atchison County Courthouse no later than 7:00pm on the day of the election.
