(KAIR)--The Board of Atchison County Rural Fire District #2 is conducting two informational meetings aimed at bringing Atchison County residents up to date on the proposed new fire building in the county.
The first meeting will take place Thursday night starting at 7:00 in the Effingham blue building. Members of the board will be on hand to explain why the new building is needed, how they are working on a grant to fund the building, as well as answer any questions resident may have.
If you are unable to attend the first meeting, a second meeting will be held on the evening of October 23rd at 7:00 in the same building.
