(KAIR)--A motorcycle wreck on K-7 Highway near 330th Road in Atchison county sent a Blue Springs, MO man to the hospital.
According to Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie, 67-year-old David Teeters was driving his motorcycle on K-7 just after 4:00 Saturday afternoon when a gust of wind caused him to lose control and veer off the road before being thrown off the cycle.
Teeters was transported by EMS to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph for treatment of injuries to his left arm and wrist area.
Laurie says Teeters was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.
