The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says 76-year-old David Becker, of Seneca, was westbound when he slowed to turn into a private drive and his pickup truck was struck from behind by a westbound van driven by 40-year-old Matthew Douglas.
Douglas was transported by Lifenet to Heartland Regional Hospital in St. Joseph. A passenger, 26-year-old Collin Sanders, was transported to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca by the Seneca EMS. Becker wasn’t hurt.
