Holt County to Begin Applying Road Rock
03/20/2014

(KTNC) --  The Holt County Road and Bridge Department is preparing to begin applying rock to county roads.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Daryl Biermann told commissioners that CART rock application could begin by the end of this month, depending on road conditions as snow melts and the ground thaws.
Holt County maintains more than 500 miles of county roads.
Bridge inspections are also continuing in Holt County. The Missouri Department of Transportation does the inspections to determine the safety and load capacity of the county’s bridges.
