(KTNC) -- The Nemaha Natural Resources District and Nebraska Forest Service have scheduled a forestry workshop later this month.
The free workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, at the Nemaha NRD office in Tecumseh.
Topics covered during the workshop will include windbreak conditions and steps to renovate windbreaks, drought stress, insect and disease issues, planting for wildlife enhancement, and information about various Nemaha NRD programs.
Representatives from the Nebraska Forest Service and Nemaha NRD will answer questions and provide information about various forestry topics.
There is no charge to attend the workshop and pre-registration is not required. For more information, contact the Nemaha NRD office in Tecumseh at 402-335-3325.
