(KTNC) - A northwest Missouri woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon. The accident happened at 3:15 Sunday afternoon on Highway 136, seven miles east of Tarkio.
According to the Missouri State Patrol, 27-year-old Crystal Klosek of Burlington Junction suffered serious injuries in the accident.
Klosek’s 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix went off the highway, struck an embankment and a ditch before overturning onto its top. Klosek, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported initially to the Fairfax Community Hospital and was later taken by helicopter to the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
