( KNZA )--A motorcyclist was injured early Sunday morning in a wreck on a Jefferson County road about 4 miles north of Perry.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 45-year-old James White of Lawrence was traveling north on Ferguson Road when he missed a curve in the roadway. His 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the road and entered the ditch. White was ejected from the motorcycle as it rolled.
He was transported by Jefferson County EMS to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center.
The Patrol says White wasn’t wearing a helmet.
The accident was reported around 12:45 Sunday morning.
