(KLZA) The Auburn City Council will meet at 7 p-m Monday evening at City Hall. One of the agenda items for the meeting is the presentation of the proposed budget for the next fiscal year.
Other items for Council members to act on during the meeting is a request from Albert Ensor to post residential speed limit signs on 14th Street between Highway 75 and P Street or Children at Play signs.
Olsson Associates will present a recreation facility plan for Auburn. Auburn Chamber of Commerce representatives will meet with the Council to discuss the future of the holiday decorations. Bid are also expected to be awarded for windows at the Auburn Senior Center.
A real estate transfer of property at 1217 9th Street will be reviewed and a proposal to transfer nuisance properties within city limit to the City will be discused.
The Historic Preservation Board will also be seeking permission from the Auburn Council to go out for bids to hire a consulting firm to write a nomination for national recognition.
