(KTNC) - Southeast Community College is losing another top administrator. Lincoln Campus president Jeanette Volker will retire in January after 33 years at the college.
Volker has overseen several major S-C-C expansions in recent years, including the construction of a welcome center and student services addition in Lincoln. (play audio :23 “user friendly.”)
Southeast has been highly rated nationwide among community colleges in various surveys in recent months, which Volker says is very rewarding. (play audio :11 “all about.”)
Volker started in S-C-C in January of 1980 as an instructor in the dietary program at the Lincoln Campus.
Southeast president Jack Huck has also announce he’ll retire next June, after having been with the college since 1975. Southeast has campuses in Beatrice, Lincoln, and Milford.
