(KLZA)-- The public is encouraged to attend an information meeting in Falls City Tuesday afternoon concerning the location of a new Southeast Community College Outreach Center in Falls City. The meeting will begin at 4:30 at Prichard Auditorium.
Southeast Community College President Dr. Paul Illich and other SCC personnel will be on hand to receive input concerning the types of training the school needs to provide to the area.
The EDGE Tri-State Labor Committee has worked with SCC to help get one of the six new outreach centers to be located in Falls City.
Officials say it will be important for students and businesses to attend to let the SCC representatives know what types of training is needed.
Hopes are to have the new outreach center in operation as soon as possible.
Southeast Community College serves a 15-county area of Southeast Nebraska and currently has campuses in Beatrice, Milford and Lincoln.
