(KAIR) -- A 37-year-old Atchison woman is in custody for allegedly stabbing a man at an Atchison residence early Tuesday morning.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says Amber Dial was taken into custody later that day.

Wilson says the male victim was treated at the Atchison Hospital and released.
Dial remains in the Atchison County Jail awaiting bond and formal charges.
